Rebecca A McCormick, CFP®, CRPS®
Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Institutional Consultant, Senior Portfolio Management Director, Corporate Retirement Director, Financial Wellness Director
Rebecca McCormick serves clients with retirement plan strategies by assisting plan sponsors with their fiduciary responsibilities and helping drive better retirement outcomes for plan participants.
As a Corporate Retirement Director, Becky focuses on the retirement plan marketplace and advising corporate retirement plan sponsors and plan participants. Today, many individuals are not saving or not saving enough to enjoy a comfortable retirement or leave a desired legacy to their children. She assists plan sponsors by engaging and educating plan participants to demonstrate the importance of a savings plan and guides participants in developing a plan to help achieve a comfortable retirement. Becky takes the time to work with participants to structure a portfolio in an effort to help achieve the right balance of risk and return in accordance with their goals.
Becky has over 38 years of industry experience, including 28 years at Morgan Stanley, having joined Graystone Consulting Green Bay in 1994. Prior to that, she worked for a retirement plan administration firm and a bank trust department where she garnered the technical knowledge that many retirement plan consultants may not have. This knowledge has allowed her to bring value to her relationships with plan sponsor and plan participants.
Becky has been recognized by NAPA Net’s Top Women Advisors for 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, and 2022. She has also been recognized by Forbes magazine as one of America’s Top Women Wealth Advisors & Best-In-State 2022 and 2023. Becky has earned the CRPS® designation and CFP® designation from the College for Financial Planning, Denver Co. As a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®), Becky has demonstrated her knowledge and experience in providing advice and guidance to employers offering defined benefit and defined contribution plans. The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) designation has provided Becky with the knowledge and tools to understand how to develop specific strategies to minimize taxes, protect assets, maximize growth and transfer wealth.
Becky enjoys giving back to her local community, and she volunteers her time and leadership to several organizations. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the YWCA Greater Green Bay. Becky is a warm and friendly person who welcomes the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their life experiences. For fun and relaxation, she enjoys boating, gardening and spending time with her husband Vince and their dogs. She is passionate about the well-being of animals and volunteers her time working with no-kill animal shelters and supporting local organizations, such as the Bay Area Humane Society and Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary.

You should understand the differences between a brokerage and advisory relationship. When providing you brokerage services, our legal obligations to you are governed by the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the rules of self-regulatory organizations such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and state securities laws, where applicable. When providing you advisory services, our legal obligations to you are governed by the Investment Advisers Act, Federal statutes and regulations relating to retirement accounts, and applicable state securities laws. These latter advisory obligations govern our conduct and disclosure requirements, creating a legal standard which is referred to as a “fiduciary” duty to you. We also may have a fiduciary duty to you, with respect to brokerage retirement accounts.
Please reach out to your Institutional Consultant if you have questions about your rights and our obligations to you, including the extent of our obligations to disclose conflicts of interest and to act in your best interest. For additional answers to questions about the differences between our advisory and brokerage services, please consult with your Institutional Consultant or review our Understanding Your Brokerage and Investment Advisory Relationships brochure available at https://www.morganstanley.com/wealth-relationshipwithms/pdfs/understandingyourrelationship.pdf.
